Renovation villa Brakkeput Mei Mei

Between manor house Brakkeput Mei Mei and the Asiento harbor, this former ‘Shell home’ is located. The original house was built around 1950 for a former Shell Director at a property with breathtaking views on the Spanish Water. This outdated property has been converted into a modern villa.

The house and outbuildings were in need of a thorough renovation to meet today’s standards and the needs and wishes of the client. The former guest house has been completely demolished and replaced by a carport. The former carport has been completely stripped, leaving only the structural components which was used to create a spacious guest apartment. The house has been stripped completely, only to preserve the ouside walls, structural floors and a single supporting wall post.

Via a long driveway, one arrives at the imposing entrance of the house; three high windows with wooden shutters in front, mark the front of the house. Oak accents have been added to give the house a tropical character. The main residential areas are situated so that the view of the Spanish Water and Table Mountain are optimally used. The spacious porch has beautiful views of the new pool, the Spanish Water and the Caribbean sea.
